What is the mix ratio for Epoxal 100 HP?
  • The Epoxal 100 HP has a mix ratio of 2:1.
  • 2 parts resin to 1 Part Catalyst.
How many chip colors can I mix for my Kromotex Epoxy floor?
  • We have 32 different chip colors you can mix and match when coming up with a customer chip blend.
  • Typically chip blends are between 2-4 different chip colors.
What Epoxal colors are available?

We regularly stock 8 standard Epoxal colors with the option custom colors. (Large order volume required for custom colors)

How long does it take for the product to cure?

Typically, allow 24-48 hours for optimal curing, depending on conditions.

When should I apply my sealer?
  • Before applying any sealer you must ensure the surface is free of any dust, contaminants or moisture.
  • Apply sealer either early in morning after the dew has evaporated or later afternoon, avoiding peak sunlight hours to ensure the best coating cure.
What is my surface prep?

Before sealing it is best to wash the area to ensure a clean surface profile when the sealer is applied. Complete this wash and allow enough time for it to dry fully before any product application.

When can I walk or drive on the area after it has been sealed?

This is a very fast curing product. Foot traffic cure time is between 1-2 hours while vehicle traffic or any sort of furniture we recommend having off the surface for 24 hours.

What surfaces can I apply the sealer on?
  • Concrete floors, driveways, patios
  • Interlocking brick
  • Stamped concrete
  • Exposed aggregate

What is my surface prep?
  • Ensure surface profile has all loose or flaking areas removed either by hand sanding or power-washing the area
  • Before beginning to coat ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from any contaminants before application.
Do I need a primer?

No, Liquistone does not require a primer coat. It is a self priming coating over masonry surfaces.

How many coats of Liquistone should I apply?

Two coats of Liquistone are typically recommended for the best results.
